DMCA Policy

Overview
TariffClassify respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. If you believe that content accessible through our Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice to our designated agent.

Filing a takedown notice
To submit a valid DMCA takedown notice, your written communication must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work(s) claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (e.g., URL, session ID, or image description).
- Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Counter-notification
If you believe your content was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated agent containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the removed material and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your location.
Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10 business days, we may restore the content.
Repeat infringers
TariffClassify will terminate accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages including attorneys' fees.
